The origin
2010 — AFRICA
Built around a problem that could not be solved from a distance.
FNA was established in 2010 on a simple conviction: African organisations deserve intelligence and security capability shaped by a real understanding of the continent's markets, institutions and risk landscape.
What began as a focused practice developed into a group as new, connected needs became clear. Each business was created to solve one of those needs properly — with its own focus, team and way of working.

2010 · The beginning
FNA Intel & Cyber
FNA began as one specialist practice with a clear purpose: help African institutions understand risk earlier, defend what matters and communicate securely. Intelligence, cybersecurity and discretion formed the foundation on which the wider group would be built.

The venture layer
Addicnet
The work revealed a broader challenge. Strong ideas and ambitious companies also needed disciplined execution to move between African and global markets. Addicnet extended the group into digital venture delivery, cloud operations, quality assurance and cross-border product strategy.

As digital risk moved beyond institutions and into homes and personal devices, Dicotel brought enterprise-grade protection closer to everyday users through practical endpoint, home and mobile security.

FNAweb
Security also depends on the systems people use every day. FNAweb took on the infrastructure, hosting and website care behind growing businesses — managed cloud environments, WordPress care and static hosting, run by one accountable team.

Freeman Addico founded FNA to build capability on the continent, by people who understand its realities from the inside.
His work across intelligence, technology and enterprise risk shaped a group designed to combine specialist depth with practical execution. As FNA expanded, that principle remained constant: every new business must solve a clear problem and earn its place in the ecosystem.
